Connecting veterans, service members, and military spouses with meaningful employment opportunities through the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s vast network. 

Manufacturing Institute transitions skilled and certified service members, vets, and military spouses into manufacturing careers. Also educates manufacturers on recruiting and hiring from the military community.

Training

Partners with education, government, and communities to develop programs and services to place Texans in jobs and to equip them with needed skills s to further economic development.

TWC’s Skills for Small Business program offers funding for training for employees at local community and technical colleges, or the Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX).

Copperas Cove EDC Workforce Development Project

The Copperas Cove EDC has initiated HireCove, a workforce development project aimed at providing quarterly job fairs and other resources to the community. 

The main objective is to help individuals find meaningful employment and to assist businesses in finding skilled and dedicated employees. The CCEDC offers resources such as local job listings and job fair information in the HireCove online community skill development workshops, and our new job search tool (link below).

The Copperas Cove EDC hosts an annual regional career fair that brings hiring employers and job seekers together, creating networking opportunities both locally and in neighboring communities.
