Building a Stronger Workforce with Hire Cove

Hire Cove launched in 2023 as a community job fair alongside the Copperas Cove EDC’s quarterly pop-up market. Led by Workforce Development Specialist Brittany Sanders, the program quickly grew into a year-round initiative connecting local employers and job seekers through events, training, and career resources.

Expanding Opportunities for Students

Copperas Cove Economic Development Corporation has partnered with CCISD’s CTE program to launch an internship initiative. This initiative is designed to enhance workplace readiness by strengthening foundational skills.

The program will play a key role in developing local talent by offering career-focused experiences through community engagement and business partnerships. 

Employers and training sponsors can partner with our local high school CTC program to mentor, sponsor, and guide Copperas Cove upperclassmen (11th and 12th graders).

Job Search with Employ Central Texas

Employ Central Texas is a regional job board connecting opportunities across Bell, Coryell, and Lampasas counties. The platform also includes filters for Military Occupational Codes, making it easier for veterans to find relevant roles.
