The HireCove workforce development program works to bridge the gap between local employers and people searching for career opportunities in the Copperas Cove, Texas area. It was started in 2023 by Workforce Development Specialist Brittany Sanders with an initial job fair hosted in conjunction with the CCEDC's quarterly popup market. With the community's response, the program grew quickly. It now includes an online Facebook community group of 300 members, an annual summer career fair, and a local job search tool. Future resources include workforce development focused workshops and trainings.
