The City of Copperas Cove has two Qualified Opportunity Zones, pending Opportunity Zone 2.0 designation, that cover a large portion of available commercial and industrial development areas.
Opportunity Zones are designated areas intended to encourage long-term private investment. Businesses and investors who place capital in eligible projects within Opportunity Zones may benefit from federal capital gains tax incentives.
