Funding for Business Upgrades
Copperas Cove EDC’s Business Improvement Grant Program helps brick-and-mortar businesses located in the Copperas Cove city limits invest in upgrades that improve appearance, safety, and functionality.
How Much is the Grant?
The program provides up to 50% of eligible improvement costs, with a maximum award of $5,000.
What Projects Qualify?
Eligible improvements include:
Façade Improvements - Improvements to building facades including, but not limited to, structural enhancements, painting, remodeling, and awnings.
Signage - Installation of new signs or renovation/removal of existing signs.
Site Improvements - Parking lot resurfacing, lighting, landscaping, and other enhancements.
Other Property Improvements - Improvements including, but not limited to upgrades to electrical systems, plumbing, masonry repair, HVAC systems, and other permanent building fixtures.
Who Can Apply?
For-profit businesses, commercial property owners, and business tenants located within the Copperas Cove city limits
Applicants must be in good financial standing with the City of Copperas Cove and Coryell County
Home-based businesses and residential properties are not eligible
When Can You Apply?
Funding is limited and available until exhausted.
Funding Period: October 1, 2025 - September 30, 2026
One Project Per Year: Applicants, even those with multiple businesses or commercial properties, can receive funding for one project in a 12-month period.
