Supporting Local Business Growth & Enhancement
The Copperas Cove Economic Development Corporation (CCEDC) is proud to offer the Business Improvement Grant Program to help strengthen and revitalize our local business community.
This matching reimbursement grant provides up to 50% of eligible improvement costs (maximum $5,000) to support upgrades that improve the appearance, safety, and functionality of local brick-and-mortar businesses.
Eligible Projects
Businesses may apply for funding to help cover improvements such as:
Façade Enhancements – painting, remodeling, structural upgrades, awnings
Signage – installation, renovation, or removal of exterior signs
Site Improvements – parking lot resurfacing, lighting, landscaping
Other Property Upgrades – electrical, plumbing, HVAC, masonry, and other permanent fixtures
Who Can Apply?
For-profit businesses, commercial property owners, and business tenants located within Copperas Cove city limits
Applicants must be in good standing with the City of Copperas Cove and Coryell County (no outstanding obligations)
Home-based businesses and residential properties are not eligible
Program Highlights
Reimbursable Grant: Applicants cover costs up front, then are reimbursed up to 50%
Grant Maximum: $5,000 per project
One Project Per Year: Limited to one approved project in a 12-month period
Funding Cycle: October 1, 2025 – September 30, 2026, or until funds are exhausted
