Quality of life is not defined by a single amenity or event—it is shaped by how a community comes together, supports local places, and creates experiences that make families feel at home. Throughout this holiday season, Copperas Cove showcased exactly that through a series of well-attended, community-driven events that highlighted the city’s strong sense of place.
From the return of Christmas in the Park to the Copperas Cove Chamber of Commerce’s Krist Kindl Markt, tree lighting ceremony, and the annual Christmas Parade, residents had multiple opportunities to gather, celebrate, and build traditions close to home. Together, these events reflect why Copperas Cove continues to be a great place for families to live and a community positioned for long-term growth.
Our team was proud to participate in Christmas in the Park, hosted by the City’s Parks and Recreation Department, where City Park’s walking trail was transformed into a festive, lighted experience for families. We welcomed children and parents to our cookie-decorating station, creating simple but meaningful moments that reinforced the importance of family-friendly public spaces and shared experiences.

Equally important was the energy and momentum felt in Downtown Copperas Cove during Krist Kindl Markt weekend. Hosted by our community partners at the Copperas Cove Chamber of Commerce, the event brought thousands of residents downtown to shop local vendors, enjoy live entertainment, visit with Santa, and attend the Christmas Parade. Local businesses extended their hours, vendors filled the streets, and families packed the downtown district, demonstrating the growing role downtown plays in Copperas Cove’s identity.
As Chamber President and CEO Beth Galick-Carney shared during the event, “We’re really excited to just bring the community downtown… it’s wonderful to see so many people down here and so many people committing to revitalizing the Downtown.”
Our team was also pleased to attend the Krist Kindl Markt tree lighting ceremony and the Christmas Parade, supporting events that not only celebrate the season but also reinforce downtown as a hub for commerce, culture, and community life. These moments matter—because active downtowns, enjoyable public spaces, and strong partnerships all contribute to workforce attraction, business investment, and resident retention.
