Earlier this year, the Copperas Cove Economic Development Corporation partnered with the Texas Downtown Association to conduct a comprehensive downtown assessment. The visit brought together community leaders, downtown businesses, and residents to evaluate the strengths, opportunities, and future potential of Copperas Cove’s downtown district.
During their time in the community, the assessment team met with city leadership, local stakeholders, and downtown business owners while also touring the district and gathering public feedback through surveys and roundtable discussions. The goal of the assessment was to provide professional insight and recommendations that can help guide future revitalization efforts.

This report provides valuable recommendations and observations that will help inform future planning, collaboration, and investment in downtown Copperas Cove. The feedback gathered throughout the process reflects the voices of the community and will play an important role as we continue working to strengthen the district.
