The Copperas Cove Economic Development Corporation (CCEDC) is gearing up to host its 2nd Annual Regional Hiring Event on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, as part of the ongoing Hire Cove initiative to connect Central Texas employers with talented job seekers.
Held at the Copperas Cove Civic Center, this large-scale event will feature 66+ employers and is expected to attract 500+ job seekers from the region. Participants will have access to on-the-spot networking, hiring opportunities, and valuable community and workforce resources.
To help job seekers prepare for the hiring event, CCEDC is also hosting a free pre-event career workshop, “Glow Up & Get Hired: Level Up Your Look & Resume,” on Thursday, July 10, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the District Training Facility (702 Joe Lombardi Way #200, Copperas Cove, TX 76522).
Led by regional HR experts Anna Musulin and Belinda Kimball from CenTex SHRM, the workshop will cover:
Basic resume writing with hands-on drafting support
Personal branding and elevator pitch coaching
Professional presentation tips for job interviews
The workshop is free to attend, includes light refreshments, and is open to 30 participants. Attendees can bring a laptop to work on their resumes and will have access to Wi-Fi and workshop materials.
