Copperas Cove Economic Development Corporation is collaborating with the Copperas Cove Chamber of Commerce to launch the Business Roundtables Initiative.

The initial focus is on the restaurant industry to promote collaboration and growth. The primary goal is to create a platform for restaurateurs, industry stakeholders, and local authorities to come together, share insights, and collectively address challenges.

Senior Director of Business Retention and Expansion, Sean Stevens, brings his knowledge and experience to this project having previously worked with tech companies and food and beverage manufacturers in Eugene, Oregon. In his prior role as the Business Development Officer for Business Oregon, he successfully spearheaded initiatives that enhanced collaboration and job expansion across these sectors.

By fostering a supportive environment in this new program, CCEDC aims to enhance the overall competitiveness of Copperas Cove’s restaurant sector. The business roundtable will catalyze building stronger partnerships, streamlining regulatory processes, and implementing strategic initiatives that contribute to the long-term success of our culinary landscape. Through this effort, CCEDC aspires to cultivate a thriving restaurant ecosystem that not only benefits local businesses but also enriches the community’s dining experience.

This inaugural effort with the restaurant sector serves as a pilot program, with a plan to expand the model to other key industry sectors in Copperas Cove in the future.

The first Local Restaurant Business Roundtable will be on April 15th, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Copperas Cove Economic Development Corporation Office (207 S. 3rd St. Suite 200.) While participants can join any future roundtable discussions, this initial one will have the importance of laying the foundation for subsequent meetings in regards to what challenges will be addressed, what information will be shared, and what resources will be provided.
